Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gary Nakatsuru can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Tammy Khorram
Condolence: I was so saddened and sorry to hear this news this morning. I remember Gary watching Chloe's games as a proud father, positive, upbeat and happy. He was a joy to be around. My deepest condolences to Rose and Chloe. I am so sorry for your loss. xo

Condolence From: Neil Twining
Condolence: Dear Rose and Chloe, my name is Neil Twining. My boat is moored right beside yours in Thunderbird Marina. Side by side. Chloe may remember me although she was only ten years old when we last met. She was getting ready to go out fishing with her dad. I have had the pleasure of knowing Gary over these past few years and we have shared many a conversation on fishing and life in general. My wife is Japanese. Needless to say we enjoyed talking to each other. I last saw him in mid-September and I think I will leave it at that. I am at a loss for words to describe my profound sadness at the news of his passing. He was a good man. And from what I could see I don't think anybody could have asked for a better father. Sincerely,
Neil and Megumi Twining

Condolence: Dear Rose and Chloe,

Gary's recent passing has left me quite saddened. I appreciated the times I did spend with Gary. I will miss his openness, his loving demeanour and his wonderful sense of humour.

My heart goes out to both of you. Lots of Love to you both, Loren

Condolence: It is with great sadness that we received the news that Gary has passed away. Being a cousin who lived a great distance from Gary and his family, we did not often see him enough. The beautiful thing about Gary was that he made the effort to reach out and touch people. My father, who just recently passed, always appreciated this and often commented on this. Those times we did share, which was far too infrequent, you could just see and feel the warm light that came from his soul. You did not need to be in his presence long to understand who he genuinely was. It is such a tragedy that this light has gone out far too early. Everyone who has ever been the fortunate recipient of his warmth will miss him. Rose and Chloe we offer you our love and our support.
