Rodney and Vermeda
We are so saddened to hear that George is no longer with us. We haven't known him for many years, but in the short time he was our friend, he became a dear one. His sense of humour, his eagerness to help and his cheerfulness in welcoming new neighbors was extraordinary. We have fond memories of his and Maria's winter gatherings, and the fun evening speaking German with Vermeda's son, Ben. We do miss George and will miss him, and are just so fortunate to have known him, if even for not as many years as others more fortunate than us. Peace and Love follow him and Maria and their family. May wonderful memories bring cheer in the days and years to come.
