Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Tietjen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Rodney and Vermeda
Condolence: We are so saddened to hear that George is no longer with us. We haven't known him for many years, but in the short time he was our friend, he became a dear one. His sense of humour, his eagerness to help and his cheerfulness in welcoming new neighbors was extraordinary. We have fond memories of his and Maria's winter gatherings, and the fun evening speaking German with Vermeda's son, Ben. We do miss George and will miss him, and are just so fortunate to have known him, if even for not as many years as others more fortunate than us. Peace and Love follow him and Maria and their family. May wonderful memories bring cheer in the days and years to come.

Condolence From: Don & Anna Grant
Condolence: George was a close neighbour of ours for many years. He was a loving, caring person with a good heart, a positive outlook, and a wonderful sense of humour. We enjoyed listening to his travel experiences in Europe and elsewhere and will remember many wine tastings at his home on Folkestone Way. George will be sorely missed at summer gatherings of our Folkestone Way community. We pray that he is now in Gods loving embrace.
