Option 1

Funeral at a Church or Venue of Choice, followed by Cremation

Funeral / Celebration of Life at a Church or Alternative Venue, followed by Cremation:

For thousands of years, funerals have been a means of expressing our beliefs, thoughts and feelings about the death of someone we love. The funeral ceremony generally consists of visitation, gathering at a venue with the deceased present, followed by cremation. The funeral ceremony helps to acknowledge that someone we love has died, allows us to say goodbye, provides a support system for us (friends, family, members of our community), and allows us to reflect on the meaning of life and death.

The package includes:
 
  • Professional Services - $1470

    • Meeting with our Funeral Directors and being informed of service options.
    • Ascertaining who has the legal right to make the funeral arrangements.
    • Ensuring families understand their choices between burial and cremation.
    • Gathering of Vital Statistical information in order to register the death.
    • Completion of CPP & Old Age Security Forms.
    • Facilities & Equipment. 
    • Contacting medical staff, coroner’s office, and other authorities.
    • Planning & coordinating service details with family, venue, and all other parties.



  • Transfer Fee - $520

    • Removal of the deceased from the place of death at any time of day (ie hospital, home, care facility) and transport back to our Funeral Home, 24/7.
    • Includes vehicle, equipment and necessary items to conform with universal transfer precautions.

  • Documentation - $270

    • Obtaining medical documents from doctor and or clearance from Coroner.
    • Registering the death with Vital Statistics and producing burial permits and cremation certificate
    • Ensuring all releases, permits are taken care of.

  • Sheltering, Housing, Sanitation & Refrigeration - $475

    • Providing sheltering, housing, sanitation, and refrigeration of your loved one in our 24/7 supervised funeral home.

  • Use of our Cadillac Hearse - $475

    • Use of our Cadillac Hearse for bringing the casket to and from the service. 

  • Cremation Fee - $940

    • Cremation takes place at our own crematorium under our staff supervision.
    • Note: Cremation cannot take place until 48 hours after the time of death and until we receive the doctor’s medical certificate and or Coroner’s release.

  • Dressing Fee - $336

    • With clothing provided by the family our staff will wash and dress your loved one for viewing.

  • Equipment & Setup Fee - $520

    • Our staff will bring flower stands, picture boards, memorabilia,  donation cards and other items to help set up the service.
    • Includes setting up venue to have everything ready for the service and packing up of all items.

  • Staffing for the Service - $830

    • Staffing to assist and coordinate details with the service.
    • Celebrant service of George McKenzie if needed.


  • Other Service Items - Included at No Cost

    • Online memorial page placed on our website.
    • Picture boards for posting photos for the celebration of life.
    • Easels, baskets, and picture frame holders.
    • Portable PA system.

Our professional team can arrange a personalized service to celebrate the life of your loved one. The celebration will have family and friends come together in an atmosphere that reflects and remembers a life well lived.

Online Virtual Celebration of Life with Cremation:

Technology has allowed friends and family from across the globe to come together at the same time and to celebrate the life of a life well lived. This service is an online virtual service (live streamed) where our staff at set up, manage, and create an online celebration of life.  Viewers would be in the comfort of their own home as a detailed order of service would be arranged for the service. The celebration would be live streamed and a personal link would be sent to the family to share with family and friends. There would be no physical attendance at a venue, everyone would gather online.

When your wishes are to have a private viewing with your loved one prior to cremation. We can arrange to have a private and intimate setting for you and your family to say goodbye.

This is a service where our staff would create a personalized internment ceremony (placing of the urn in a cemetery plot) at a cemetery of your choice.

Attending the Cremation Service

Attending the Cremation Service:

This is a small private service when you and or your family wish to attend the cremation. We own and operate our own crematorium and can accommodate up to 15 people for this service. You have the option of being present for when the casket is placed in the crematorium, or sitting in our chapel outside the crematorium. Which ever is best for you.
