Obituary for Afsar Izadi
IZADI, Afsar
April 21, 1938 – August 11, 2016
Our beloved Afsar Izadi passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2016 at Royal Columbian Hospital at the age of 78 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Nosrat Mohammedhossein of 51 years, two sons Paul and Babak, daughter’s-in-law Edith and Julia, and grandchildren Tomas and Theo. Afsar’s love for her family and friends was so abundant, and her selfless and giving nature will be missed by everyone. We remember her most for her humility, kindness and sincere generosity; an inspiration to us all. Funeral service will be held at West Vancouver United Church at 11am on Friday, August 26th. Burial service will follow at Capilano View Cemetery at 2:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the Vancouver Bahai’i Centre on Sunday, August 28th at 6:30pm.
