Gundula Charlotte Blumel
Gundy Blumel passed away August 25, 2015 at Lion's Gate Hospital while she was with her family. She will be missed by her sons Ian (Jill) Blumel and Brian (Jessica) Blumel, as well as by her beloved granddaughters, Ruby and Margaret Blumel and Portia and Madeleine Blumel.
Gundy was able to spend her well deserved years in retirement enjoying time with her family, but also enjoying the mountains, hiking, and spending time with her friends who also shared her love of the outdoors. Gundy was not defined by any of the challenges she faced, and has passed on her determination and independence to her sons and the next generation of Blumel women. We love you very much.
