Mrs. A as I fondly remember her as, was my Grade 6 & 7 teacher in the early 90's. She was definitely a spit fire and she set us kids straight when needed but she was always overly generous with us as well. Often spending her own money on art supplies so we could create huge murals in our classroom, or decorations for holidays. She also introduced us to Opera and I remember watching Pirates of Penzance and other opera's. She was so passionate about singing, opera, and music. I also remember the rhyming poems she had for us upon graduation, we all laughed. I will now be searching my albums for this piece of my childhood :) I remember we would meet her in the parking lot in the mornings, she'd come down 13th street in this little red car, and she always had a red coat. She was loved by us all. RIP Mrs. A, and condolences to her family. We all know she's giving the angels a run for their halos. xo
