Brenda and Michael Broughton

Dearest Ken, Scott, Sarah, Darren, Assunta, Fisher and Wylie, Crystal and Matthew, All our hearts are heavy...Vera was immensely committed to all of her family and to friends. Vera was an amazing person and friend to many people who she deeply cared about and cared for. She will always be an inspiration to us all. Generous to all she knew. For us a deeply loved and trusted longtime and dear family friend who would arrive at the most thoughtful times, just to say hello or to lend a helping hand, when nothing had even been requested...along with Ken, a wonderful and devoted equally talented, husband and dear friend. Vera was filled with a love of life, a vision for her family and was so talented, creative and capable in every way you can imagine. Vera was filled with energy...immensely lovable, thoughtful, kind, warm and loving, always thinking of others. We are devastated and can only imagine how greatly each of you feel Vera's loss. Our whole family is devasted. Aila, four years old, said today, "I want to send 50 balloons with hearts on them, and we can write 'I love you Cha Cha Vera' and send them to heaven to carry a gift to Cha Cha Vera. It has to be that many balloons to carry the heavy gift. I want her to have Heart earrings and a Heart necklace with a little toy purse with a real jewel in it." Bronwen, then suggested knitting needles, and Aila said, "No, I want to give Cha Cha Vera, something that she does not already have." Each of our children and grandchildren are deeply filled with sorrow at this loss. Our deepest love, thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. We love you all to pieces ! Much Love Always, Brenda and Michael Broughton
