Obituary for Mavis Lytle
LYTLE, Mavis (Nee Fox)
February 23, 1926 – November 11, 2017
It is with deepest sadness we announce the death of our beloved Mavis, the most kind and thoughtful sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. The centre of Mavis' world was always family. She wished only the best for each of us, and always believed the best in us. Her abiding faith and selfless nature guided her throughout her life. She was a gentle soul with an amazing strength of spirit, and we know we were so blessed to have called her Mom.
“Life is in the soil. Touch it with air and light and it bursts like a struck match. Nothing is dead, not even a corpse. It moves into the elements when the spirit has left it, but even to the spirit’s leaving there is life, boundless life, resistless and marvelous, fresh and clean. God”

Mavis requested there be no service, and expressly no flowers. In lieu, please donate to a charity of your choice, or do something with your family. Mom's suggestion was "bring in pizza and watch a nice movie".
