Message: It was with great sadness that I learned of Rafe Mair's recent passing. I do not currently live in the Vancouver area or I would have gone to his memorial on October 30th to pay my respects. I was interested and surprised to learn (via Ancestry) that we are (not so) distant cousins! Although I never knew Rafe, I feel like I have lost a family member that I never got to meet, and I am proud that he was (and always will be) a huge part of the history of the province that he dearly loved. My thoughts and condolences go out to everyone lucky enough to have been in his life.

Message: I loved listening to Rafe for all those years on CKNW! I always wished I could have met him in person one day! My deepest condolences to your family, he was a great British Columbian and will be missed!
