Obituary for Rafe Mair

Rafe  Mair
Kenneth Rafe Mair, December 31, 1931 – October 9, 2017. With great sadness we announce the recent passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Rafe Mair. Pre-deceased by his daughter Shawn Mair. He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Conway-Mair, and children Ken (Christine) Mair, Cindy (Larry) Armstrong, Karen (Dan) Mair-Valin, and step-children Steve (Anita) Mair and Kimberley (James) Plate, Shannon (Bert) Greer and Michelle (Leslie) Greer and many grandchildren and great-children. Also survived by brother Leigh (Micheline) Mair. Rafe was a truly passionate British Columbian who fought many causes for his beloved province. He will be greatly missed by many and remembered for his many accomplishments. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation at www.paulsugarfoundation.com.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, 690 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC. All welcome.
