Obituary for Jacqueline Louise Cummings
Jacqueline Louise Cummings 1964 - 2016 Jacqueline Louise Cummings (Latta) was surrounded by her family as she passed peacefully on Saturday May 21st, 2016 at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. True to form, she spent her final weeks living with cancer yet completely focused on sharing love, laughter, and positivity with family and friends. Husband Jim and children Brendan, Sophie and Ethan have many stories to share about her passion for adventure, travel, community and the outdoors.
Born in West Vancouver December 12, 1964, Jacqueline had a full life helping her parents, Suzanne and Roger, bring balance to three amazing brothers, Mark, Eric and Brian Latta. As adults, the Latta siblings remain close, sharing family dinners, family photos and the adventures of raising children.
Jacqueline inspired many people to try new things, whether that was skiing through the trees on a foggy day, sleeping in a tent in Africa, or starting a new business. Her success was seeing other people thrive. Jacqueline's family and friends will hold her loving, joyful, generous and positive spirit close as they continue to experience life's most beautiful moments, sharing her delight in beach strolls, sunsets, and forest walks.
