Obituary for Sarah Anne Nyman Doherty
August 7, 1962 to April 18th, 2016
For us who know Sarah well, it comes as no surprise that she fought for every last moment of life after her cancer diagnosis. She had so much to live for. She cherished her career as a teacher and being a loving mother to her three sons: Conor, Rowan and Aidan. She and her spouse Patrick had so many wonderful times over the past 30 years and were looking forward to many more. The family is grateful for the support Sarah received at the leukemia ward at VGH and hold a special place in their hearts for the nurses who lovingly cared for Sarah. Sarah is survived by her parents Irv and Pat and her three siblings: Julie, Andy and Liz. There will be a memorial service for Sarah at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver at 11:00 am on April 23rd.
