Condolence: To Jeanette and family, I was really saddened to hear the news about Trig. I have many happy memories of him at Christmas parties, at Whistler and on Hornby. He was always fun to be around. My conversation with him in November about competing in tennis was right on. He was a great sportsman and a very special person and I am really glad to have known him. Condolence: To Jeanette and Family, Trig was the most wonderful friend to me, the brother that I never had. I played tennis, skied, fished and boated with Trig over the years. I had great trips with Jeanette and Trig and many, many marvelous dinners. I will miss Trig for his kindness, warmth, thoughtfulness and fun. Our family will also miss him terribly. My heartfelt condolences, and love and thoughts are with you all. Pat McLeod

Condolence From: Barry McLeod
Condolence: Trig was a great guy. He was the real thing. He was a gentleman, and a gentle man. I have known Trig for 55 years and in all that time, I never heard him speak ill of anyone. He was always fun, and a ‘hail fellow, well met’ kind of guy. Perhaps his Aussie heritage had something to do with this; speaking of Aussie, although Trig loved women, he was at his best in the company of men, whether it was on our fishing trips or on his rowdy Friday nights after work with his mates at Stamps Landing Pub. He was always quick to lighten up a room with a new joke (and old jokes too, because we always liked to hear the punchlines in his Aussie twang) He was a great friend to our family, and will be greatly missed by his family, and his wide circle of friends. The world has been left a poorer place with his passing.

Condolence: Henry was around Focus Prints quite often, where I worked for Glenn Startup and Lee Batout in 1965-66. He was always ready with a joke or some good advice and seemingly a friend to everyone. The world, and I, shall miss him, even after all these years.

Condolence From: Bruce Russell
Condolence: "Trig", it is with great sadness your famous Motion to adjourn every Vancouver Jesters' meetings has been passed, unanimously, for the final time, however, in spirit it will always be made by you. You were one of a kind, a true gentleman and professional in every way. I was truly delighted and honoured to know you and consider you a friend. "Class" is a word that comes to mind to everyone who had the same pleasure of knowing you. I dare say that big squash club in heaven will never be the same now that you have joined so many other wonderful squash players and Jesters. Definitely the tournaments will be so much livelier, especially if you and Brian Kent are running the bar like you did so often at the south end of the badminton courts at the old Vancouver Racquets Club at 25th & Oak. Trig, you were a wonderful husband, father, and inspiration and true friend to everyone. You will be sadly missed by all. May your soul rest in peace. Bruce & Dorene Russell

Condolence From: Brian Covernton
Condolence: Dear Jeannette and Family, Linda and I are deeply saddened with Treg's passing. He was a great character, a sportsman of high regard and a dear friend. I will miss his laugh and his passion for squash. He was one of my squash "fathers" and a Jesters Club member since 1971. Treg will not be forgotten. He always closed the Jesters meetings with - "Mr Chairman, I make a motion that the meeting be adjourned and we go to the bar". Our deepest sympathy with much love from: Brian (Covey) and Linda Covernton
